Fabulous
We loved La Palma
Liked: Clean. Comfortable. Well laid out. Very nice decor. Loved the roof top patio and wood panelled ceiling. Excellent shower room. Receptionist no fuss and very helpful when I lost one of the key cards. Nicely renovated old building. Located on main street(pedestrian only)very convenient for everything.mn
Disliked: No lift. In our 70's with knee and hip problems so found it very difficult to get cases up 42 steps. Shortage of crockery, no cereal/soup bowls.
Great location
Liked: Best location in Santa Cruz. O'Daly Road is the main attraction of Santa Cruz. Convenient parking near port. Buses in walking distance.
Disliked: Limited natural light. Small boiler for hot water, if there is no sun.
Liked: The location of the apartment, it was close to the bus station, was located in the historical section of the city. The apartment had a balcony.
Disliked: The stairs
It would be impossible to find a better location and somehow lacked homeliness
Liked: The location was perfect. It was only 5 minutes walk to the bus station, 5 minutes walk to the beach, right in the centre of the historic centre and only 2 minutes walk to a small Spar supermarket. The beds were very comfortable. There was a good selection of channels on the TV. There was plenty of hot water and free toiletries were provided. There was an unusually generous supply of towels. (3 large towels, 3 small towels and 3 bath mats for 2 people for one week).
Disliked: It was very dark. There was only one window, with shutters, facing the street. The sitting room and kitchen were virtually a corridor. The equipment in the kitchen was a bit scanty. The Wi Fi frequently cut out and the password had to be re-entered each day. The water pressure, especially for the cold water, was a bit weak.

Disliked: Collecting the keys was a bit painful as it was not made clear how to do so until a few trips to the main holidaytime reception but all good in the end
