  Mixed bag

  Liked: Spacious accommodation with a great view. A reasonable walk to the town -be aware its uphill but there is a public lift from the centre to the area the apartment is located in. Handy Spar store just a few minutes away. Washing machine was really useful. Excellent communication with the host.

  Disliked: Generally rather tired - furniture, decor and linen. No extras such as spare toilet roll, cleaning products, bin bags, spare towels etc. No welcome information such as location of washing machine (in outhouse on roof), wi-fi code etc. No lift in property, apartment on 3rd floor. Quite noisy. Although it is some distance from the port the overnight loading / unloading of commercial ferries was loud and prolonged. There is also a truck garage on the road underneath the main balcony, but you are staying in a working town. The noise would probably have been reduced if the windows fitted better. No heating or air-con that we were aware of.

  Liked: Great views. Comfy beds. Nice comfortable sofa. Spacious. Clean. Light and airy with big windows all around.Attentive and helpful host who gave us tips and was available to answer any queries. Clear arrival instructions. Great location on edge of the old town. Nearby Spar. Parking always available within a few minutes walk if the apartment.

  Disliked: This applies to light sleepers only. Quite a lot of noise heard through the night and especially the early hours of the morning. There is a mechanics garage on the ground floor of the building which was probably the cause of a lot of the noise. Also I think they collect rubbish through the night. Also dogs barking, roosters and noise from the car ferries.. I had to buy some earplugs. Water pressure was very low. But the positives definitely outweigh the negatives.

  Liked: Spacious apartment located in the Santa Cruz centre close to buses and ferries. Sergio is a great host - he is always available to help you out and give recommendations.

  Disliked: There are roosters in the neighbourhood and it can be a bit loud early morning when they start crowing.

  Superb apartment with amazing views!

  Liked: Very spacious, cozy and peaceful apartment with everything you need for a great holiday. The apartment has 4 balconies and lots of windows, so you have amazing views and plenty of light. Bed was very comfy and there are new windows in the bedrooms, so no noise. Wifi was excellent and there was always parking places available. Center and beach promenade with many restaurants and shops are very close and you can walk there or use the lift La Luz. Closest supermarket Spar is only 3 min walk away. Check-in and -out went smoothly with key code box and communication with Sergio was friendly and quick. We highly recommend this apartment and would absolutely stay there again! Beautiful city of Santa Cruz and this apartment are perfect base for exploring the La isla bonita! 🥰

  Liked: Stayed here for 3 nights at the beginning of September. Lots of parking available infront of the building. The apartment itself was very clean and had everything we needed. The front view is of a mountain, the back is of the port. It was also quiet at night. Sergio (the owner,) although we didnt meet him was online to make sure we were ok and had everything we needed. To get to the town you could walk down some steps which takes around 10 / 15 mins, but we didn't want to take this route in the evening. There is also a lift which is only to take people up and down from the town, the only problem is that it closes at 9pm during the week and at 3pm on the weekends! If you are looking for a place to stay in La Palma I would recommend this apartment
