  Liked: The house was very nice, a traditional house of the region - true rustic style but with all amenities for a confirtable stay! The feeling was amaizing

  A rustic, historical home with fantastic views but lacking in cleanliness

  Liked: The view from the upstairs patio was amazing. The house is very large which made it comfortable for two families- seeing the history inside the home and wondering about what had happened inside the walls intrigued us. Also, the option to purchase wine from a local winery was a nice touch.

  Disliked: The smell inside the house from the heating flooded the first floor (dining area) and we didn’t want to eat there because the smell was so strong, even with doors closed. The house wasn’t very clean either- there were tons of long black hairs in the shower and bathroom ok the second floor and also on the sheets in a few of the beds- it’s a very large house to clean but it was clear it needed some care and attention to proper cleaning. I cleaned when we got there. Another pod or two for the dishwasher would have been nice- as a group of 8, we filled the dishwasher after one meal and they only have us one cleaning pod. Also, there was no guide book or info on things like where to take the garbage to, what is in the town or ideas or recommendations- this would have been very useful-
