  Liked: Excellent position in a lovely town. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Good breakfast included and free parking in the main square nearby.

  Great overnight stop in a lovely town, about 2 1/2 hours from Santander

  Liked: Characterful hotel, spacious room, lovely breakfast. Have stayed several times after getting ferry to Santander. Free parking in square just around the corner except Wednesdays (market day), or fiestas. In which case, there's a big free car park about 10 mins walk, beyond the Parador. Several restaurants in Lerma, we found a lovely one called La Foccacia just off the square.

  Disliked: Nothing to dislike about the hotel. We got caught out by the preparations for the fiesta which meant going to the parking a bit further away. No big deal.

  A delightful stay in Lerma

  Liked: The rooms and en suites were large, comfortable and colourful. The beds really comfortable and the location was central and very quiet. We had a views of the flowers in the courtyard whilst my daughter had her own enclosed balcony to enjoy the sun. Although there was no parking at the Hacienda, you can bring the car to the door to unload and load, whilst parking is easy a very short walk away. The breakfast choice was extensive with meats,cheeses and cakes. The walnut cake was exceptional! The staff were all helpful and friendly, we would definately stay again.

  Disliked: Nothing, a good value and excellent place to stay in Lerma.

  Super overnight stay

  Liked: Spacious, very clean room in a characterful property, close to the main plaza in a beautiful, historic village, for parking. Plenty of choices for drinks and food around the main square. Delicious Spanish breakfast and friendly hosts. Very good value.

  Disliked: I found the bed a little hard, but that’s a personal opinion. (Choose your route into the village carefully, don’t just rely on the first suggestion from Google… we encountered a couple of sharp double bends, but we had no problems on exit)

  great place to stay when you visit Lerma. excellent breakfast

  Liked: the historic location and building is stunning. you feel (positively) like back in the good old days. the staff was very friendly and everything was clean and comfortable. location is great as it is in the middle of the old town. but the best came in the morning: we had the best breakfast during our whole trip to spain, served and supervised by " la señora de la casa." she is brilliant and although we speak no spanish, we had good fun with her. muchas gracias

  Disliked: we knew that parking was not available on site, but that is not the problem of the hotel. other than that all was fine
