Very good
Enjoyable Stay
Liked: Room of good size. Bathroom large with separate WC and Shower cubicles and strong exhaust fan. Air conditioning worked well. Whilst the hotel was very busy the room was quiet. Parking adequate. Stayed with 2 dogs and no problems.
Disliked: Strange see through partition between bedroom and bathroom. Decor of room not to everyone's taste. Service in bar could be very slow, bar staff always busy.
Good stopover near Santander and Bilbao
Liked: Comfortable room with large double bed. Cafe was good for meals, though very busy.
Disliked: A dog that couldn't/wouldn't seem to stop barking, so noisy even though we were at the back of the hotel away from the road.
All in all, a very comfortable and clean hotel. We would come back without hesitation
Liked: The rooms were immaculate and the beds extremely comfortable. We regretted that we could not have a lie in as we had to leave early! The hotel was not far from the motorway and the staff were very friendly.
Disliked: The breakfast was typically Spanish. Perhaps there could have been some more "continental" options.
Liked: Nice hotel close to Santander, with lively bar/café.
Disliked: The glass wall between the room and the bathroom - a typical example of overdesign where function becomes less important than form... A curtain in front of that wall would be nice to give you some more privacy.
Very clean and modern hotel
Liked: The property was beyond expectations. We just booked it as a stop over place on the way to the Picos but it was excellent. It was clean, modern and very cool at night with the air conditioning. We also enjoyed all the local people in the bar, watching the world cup game of Spain V Portugal. A great atmosphere.
Disliked: There was a lot of noise from other rooms, which did disrupt sleep.
Handy hotel for travelling to and from Bilbao
Liked: Room was good and staff were excellent
Disliked: Although the food was good in the bar/cafe it took some time to get served.
