Historic centre and the main bridge
The cobbled streets leading down to the Miera hold the stone mansions with coats of arms, the church of San Pedro Ad Vincula and the figure of the Fish Man beside the bridge. If you sleep here, you walk out to dinner and back along almost empty streets, with the murmur of the river in the background.
It is the place for couples and those who want to get to know the village at a gentle pace, without depending on the car. At weekends the bars and terraces are busier.

The spa occupies a 19th-century building surrounded by gardens, a short stroll from the old centre and very close to the Miera. Pámanes and the slopes of Marimón
At the foot of the Marimón and Cotillamón hills, recognisable from anywhere in the valley, rural hamlets and country houses are scattered about. Pámanes, within the municipality, has the Elsedo palace and a landscape of meadows and woods.
