Comfortable boutique accommodation in Niembru
Liked: The apartment is compact but amazingly designed. Very comfortable with a quirky industrial feel staircase. Lovely outdoor space and parking either in the village or field a few minutes away. The location was amazing for the spectacular Asturias coastline with stunning views, beaches and walks, just park the car and explore. We arrived on a Sunday and found one bar open which then closed until Wednesday. Also the local restaurants were closed but maybe we were too early in the season. Beach bar was opening on 2nd July. Toni and Paula are delightful and helpful, don’t miss a browse at Paula’s work in the little shop at the front of the apartments. Her artwork is exquisite.
Disliked: The only thing which could have improved would have been some condiments. The compact kitchen is perfect for preparing a simple meal especially when there is no where open to eat out, this minor issue was easily resolved though by a visit to the supermarket in the next village.
Liked: We loved our stay. Apartment is small for four people but Toni has made the most out of all the spaces. A lot of work has gone into making the apartments cosy and welcoming. Would highly recommend.
A perfect stay in a beautiful place!!
Liked: The appartment was beautiful inside & out! The garden, with areas to sit in the shade among the trees flowers & birds was a joy. Everything was set up in a practical way- we used the kitchen daily and it had everything we needed. The bed & sofa were super comfortable, and we really appreciated having a screen on the upstairs windows so we could leave them wide open at night. Communication with Toni & Paula was easy and lovely. And the location with the beaches and the Picos…. Unbeatable! Many thanks for all the tips on hiking trails, restaurants, etc. we can highly recommend this place and would love to come back!
