Exceptional
Liked: From start to finish, my brother and I had an excellent experience. The highlight was meeting Gabor, the owner, who was warm, friendly and full of information about the local area. We organised a pick-up from Alicante airport with him and he was punctual and helpful with directions about where to meet. He dropped us right outside the flat and showed us around the property. Communication via WhatsApp was especially practical and he came and met us on our last day to pick up the keys. He even helped carry our luggage to the café where we were meeting our parents - truly a gentleman! The flat is well laid out and everything is immaculately clean. My brother slept on the sofa bed which was comfortable as was the bed in the bedroom. There is quite a bit of space in the bedroom for bags/suitcases so if you are staying here as a couple, you'd have more space in the living room than we did, but it was still fine for us. We had everything we needed in the kitchen (large fridge, microwave, coffee machine, kettle, toaster) and Gabor had left us some drinks, snacks and coffee capsules. That said, we didn't end up staying in for many meals (apart from breakfast) as there are plenty of great restaurants to try. Highlights were La Casa de Papel, Rose's Pizza, Buena Vista on the beach front and the very beautiful restaurant in La Encarnación hotel. We would also recommend going paddle boarding with Spinosa and spending at least a day in Cartagena. There is also an indoor municipal swimming pool 10-15 mins walk from the flat (swimming cap obligatory) if you are visiting in the winter months and the sea is too cold. Location wise, we were 5 mins on foot from the sea front and in close walking distance from shops, banks, supermarkets etc. We enjoyed sitting on the communal roof terrace in the afternoons and evenings and were grateful that Gabor had left 2 beach chairs, a beach mat and umbrella in the flat for us to borrow.

Liked: The apartment was really clean. It had everything we needed. It was close to the beach. It had air conditioning. We could not ask for more.
The property was well maintained and in a great area for local bars and the Old Town restaurants. It was lovely to wake

Perfect spot
Liked: The location was fantastic, not two mins walk from the beach and very close to the market area. We stayed with our 6yo child and it didn't feel squashed! Roberto (Gabor was away during our stay) was really friendly, knowledgeable, punctuable and accomdating during our stay. Can see the horizon from the apartment and the sunrise is directly across outside (April /May time) Would stay there again:)
Liked: We had an amazing stay at this apartment! 🌟 Our host, Gabor, was incredibly friendly and welcoming. He provided us with airport transfers both ways, which was a huge plus since public transport isn’t really available in the area. On the way, he even stopped at the supermarket and came in to help us find everything we needed quickly. Gabor also shared interesting stories about the history of the town, which made our arrival even more special. The apartment itself was spotless and super clean, just a 2-minute walk from the beach. Perfect location! Throughout our stay, Gabor checked in to make sure we were comfortable, and he really made us feel at home. We highly recommend staying here perfect for a couple looking for a relaxing beach getaway & cannot thank Gabor enough for allowing us to have late check out also. Great host!:)
