Disappointed
Liked: Location to restaurants bars beach double aspect
Disliked: Disappointed with amount of steps 40 in all to get from street level to the apartment,toilet seat broken and rusted hinges,lack of full length mirror,obnoxious smell from drain in kitchen therefore could not cook or eat in the apartment,dirty washing in the washing machine,generally a bit shabby standard of cleanliness poor,needs updating.

Disliked: - check in was organised with the property owner on the phone but in person was a woman who spoke no english so a broken translation check in, not ideal but we could look past that. - we had planned to arrive earlier than we did (and a check in was organised for us) but due to flight delays we had to come late and no signal meant we were unable to let the owner know until last minute. not there fault. - smashed bedside lights not ideal - property has so much potential but the peeling paint, cracks in the walls, black mould growing up the lounge wall and kitchen was a health concern let alone unsightly. - due to health problems we had to leave immediatley and contacted booking.com directly to address the issue. booking.com said they would handle this for us and communicate with the property owner as we had to rush about finding alternative accommodation and didint want to take further time up on our holiday messaging. - owner ignored contact from b.com until after the stay and then used that as a reason not to refund the stay. b.com thankfully stepped in and refunded from themselves some of the stay (nothing to do with the owner we got credit from the booking platform) - responses from the owner were blunt and ignored the mould issue in the messages and rather focused on the flat out refusal for a refund. - not even an apology for the mould and smashed light fixture as if thats something thats normal to check into. real shame as the place has so much potential. - hope the owner uses the money kept from our stay to address the issues in the property.
Stunning views but a few serious issues
Liked: We loved the location the views were stunning from the balcony. The house was very Spanish and had nice touches. The beds were comfortable and the linen was spotless and smelled very fresh. All in all this would be a great apartment for younger fitter people but the dampness issue definitely needs addressed as it is not healthy.
Disliked: Unfortunately we were umable to use the upstairs in the apartment as the starway was more like a ladder and dangerous for us to use. It did noy say that it was unsuitable for anyone with (even minor) mobility issues. The apartment had a constant smell of dampness. I had to wash down the walls with a bleach spray to kill the spores and bought a plug in air freshener for the smell. My friend had to take her asthma inhaler frequently when we were in the apartment so we stayed out most of the day and when we got back sat on the balcony until bedtime. All in all this would be a great apartment for younger fitter people but the dampness issue definitely needs addressed as it is not healthy.

Disliked: There was a really bad smell coming from the sink, the owner said no one had mentioned it before but it was clear the cleaner knew as she’d put a bowl over the sink and there were lots of air fresheners.
