  Staying on Casa Guemon

  Liked: Communication with the owner was pleasant and open. The house was clean, comfortable, and pleasant. The area is quiet and safe. There is a clean, well-maintained swimming pool. A local café with friendly staff is nearby, and there is a supermarket close by with everything you might need. It is 8 km to the El Palmar de Vejer surf spot.

  Disliked: The AC unit was only in the common area so we had to keep the bedroom doors open to cool them down at night. It would be very helpful if there were just a couple of fans in the bedrooms.

  Liked: We stayed at Casas Guemon with our family, and it truly felt like a small escape from everything. It’s not a hotel, but separate houses, and that makes a big difference. There is a real sense of privacy, calm, and comfort — no noise, no rush, just peace. The nature around is beautiful, and the ocean nearby adds something special to the whole experience. You wake up and feel relaxed, like your mind finally slows down. The house was very clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. It honestly felt like home. The hosts were kind and welcoming, always ready to help if needed. This is the kind of place you don’t just visit — you remember it. We would love to come back again. Дякуємо за теплий прийом.   Fantastic, we’re coming again next year

  Liked: Private and quiet. Like home from home. Lots of garden areas to sit in (chasing the sun). The hosts were amazing, couldn’t do enough.

  Disliked: No oven to bake, had to use the hob, which was fine but as we were there for 2 Months. This got a bit tedious.

  Found the unicorn in Zahora!

  Liked: The host is really really friendly and welcoming, always smiling, and speaks good English. We very much enjoyed our cosy private garden and terrace, and we played a lot of table tennis. The bed was comfortable, the shower was good, the house was cute and spacious and had mosquito nets on the windows and darkening shutters (a luxury in Spain it seems)! The whole place is like a mini holiday village, beautiful, safe and well maintained, a short few minutes walk to many restaurants and a supermarket, and about 15 minutes walk to the beach: All in all we had a great and relaxing stay.

  Disliked: Would have been 100% perfect with faster/better WiFi and a little more equipment in the kitchen (little things like some oil and salt to cook, hand soap, oven gloves…).
