  Good stopover hotel on the way

  Liked: Price-quality very good and the included breakfast was very nice. Large parking lot.

  Disliked: Personnel was a couple of times missing.

  A hotel with a heart in need of refurbishing

  Liked: We loved the location and the walk to Candás. Although the hotel is very dated and a bit tired, the staff were friendly and hardworking.

  Disliked: Really didn’t like the breakfast. It didn’t look appetising, especially as the sun would shine on the meat platter and staff wouldn’t move it out the way. The bread was stale and the quality of what was available was poor. We stayed at the hotel five years ago and the quality of the breakfast was really good - simple but good quality.

  Liked: Very nice location, close to Gijón and Candas. Nice room and simple breakfast to start the day.

  Disliked: I was surprised to receive a hotel tax bill of €34 pp. It should be more obvious when booking if ALL taxes are not included. Most other booking.com providers are inclusive of taxes and hotel taxes.
