  Fantastic staff and location, but needs work on door noise and bathroom cleanliness

  Liked: The location of the hostel is excellent and makes getting around very easy. The absolute highlight of the stay was the team: the reception staff is exceptional! Everyone was extremely friendly, empathetic, well-prepared, and always in a great mood, ready to help and provide useful tips whenever needed.

  Disliked: As someone experienced with staying in hostels, I understand the typical flow, but there are two internal aspects that fell short compared to other hostels I've stayed in: Internal Noise / Doors: The doors are very noisy when opening and closing. Since my bed was right next to the door, the constant noise from people coming and going made it hard to get a good night's sleep. Bathroom Cleanliness: I know guest turnaround is high, but the cleanliness of the bathrooms could definitely be maintained better throughout the day.

  In general it was a good stay

  Liked: Location was good, walkable to major attractions,and the main train station. Grocery and shops near by. They had a kitchen which was useful. Bed was o.k. room and bathrooms cleanness was o.k. Free churros in the morning was a bonus.

  Disliked: Bathrooms could be cleaner. The kitchen did not have many cutlery and the plates were small plastic. Sheets could be cleaner.

  Liked: Located in a great area of Madrid

  Disliked: Apart from the shower, there was only a cold water tap in the room, and barely a dribble of water. Its not pleasant to shave in cold water.
