This place works as a quick in-and-out if you need to wake up and transfer from Atocha. Nothing else

Liked: The only good thing about this hotel was the location. That's it. It is really, really well located for walking in central Madrid and very close to the Atocha train station.

Disliked: The rooms were extremely tiny. I agree that this might be useful for a business traveler, but in no way should you try to stay here with a family. The staff were, at best, apathetic and seemingly ill experienced for people who work at a Marriott. The room smelled of cigarettes--not because of a previous guest, but someone aired out the room and there is a smoking area just downstairs. That part was very unpleasant.

Clean, comfortable and great location for train station access

Liked: We only stayed for one night as we flew in late from Australia and had a train the next morning to Seville. It is the perfect location for accessing the train station

Disliked: Clean and comfortable, cannot complain at all
