Lots of options other than neighborhoods in rapid transition, suggestion is try those first

Liked: Very reasonable accommodation with warm welcome, some staff are somewhat intrusive, the kind that also serve on the guest shopper side.

Disliked: The neighborhood was in transition a lot, not the best representation of the principles of engineering a safe, honest and reliable model for hospitality during heated cultural debates about visitors. We don't want to know how sausage is made.

Comfortable stay with great host, but a bit far and windowless

Liked: The host was very responsive and thoughtful, helping with check‑in and checking in throughout the stay. The property has everything you need for a comfortable visit - a spacious, comfy bed, a wardrobe, a fridge, a microwave, a heater, and a fan. It felt quiet both inside the room and in the neighborhood.

Disliked: The only consideration is the location: it's about a 15-20 minute walk to the nearest metro station, and from there roughly 30 minutes by metro to reach the city center. Also, the room doesn't have a window - it may not be an issue if you mainly come back just to sleep, but it's worth keeping in mind.
