  Great apartment in a fab location

  Liked: Location was fantastic and the air-conditioning was very good. Lovely and quite with a lift provided as it is on the 9th floor.

  Disliked: The apartment is in the loft so the headroom is a bit low in certain areas. Going into the bathroom and the bedroom. I'm not hugely tall and managed to hit my head 3 times once quite badly getting up from bed. My son also hit his head twice.

  Great location, bad bed!

  Liked: The location is great for walking around Madrid. The apartment is relatively clean. The furniture is quite functional. Two air conditioners make it easier to overcome the summer heat. The kitchen lacks a few things (for example bowls, a large kitchen knife or a trivet for a hot pot), but it has the most basic things to prepare or heat up a quick meal if you don't want to go out to restaurants.

  Disliked: The bed is very uncomfortable and at the same time short. I am 175 cm tall and the bed was too short for me, so you can imagine how it was for my hubby who is taller than me. After a long day of walking, a good bed is very important, so it's time they change the entire bed. There was a chance that our flight would be late and that we wouldn't make it to the last check-in, which is at 11 p.m. In the communication before our arrival, we received an answer from the staff that if we arrive before midnight, we will be charged an additional 10 euros for being late, and that if we do not arrive by 1 a.m., no one will wait for us, that is, we will end up on the street if we can't find new accommodation. Luckily we arrived on time, we even waited for them to give us the keys.

  Liked: There are two air conditioners, which is essential during the summer. One is located directly above the bed, and for me it was a bit too cold to sleep with, so I only used the one in the kitchen. Even then, I never felt hot, so the apartment stayed very comfortable. Although it's located right in the city center and the windows face the street, I was pleasantly surprised by how quiet it was. You can hear some street noise, of course, but the sound insulation is good and I had no trouble sleeping. The location is excellent. It's right in the heart of the city, very close to the Royal Palace and many of Madrid's main attractions. The people managing the apartment were also kind and helpful. Thank you!
