  Liked: The central location allowed us to walk to many things. For transit, we had 3 nearby subway stations, one right out front. The bus stop was also right out front...so very convenient! The design and decor of the apartment was stunning and fun and whimsical. The most wonderful bathroom with the best shower ever in a hotel room!

  Disliked: No place to hang clothes, and no place to open suit cases other than on the bed or the floor. No drawers to store clothes. The kitchen was not fully equipped compared to other places we've stayed.

  Be ready to shower in a cold water and stay in a darkness🫠

  Disliked: 2 nights we didn’t have a light And 1 day we didn’t have hot water!! Cold water felt like ice, so cold!!! Because of problem with electricity my 3 chargers were broken, key from apartment did’t work most of a time!!! AC didn’t work either… Yes. It’s was very uncomfortable staying.. the staff tried to help, but most of time they just were saying that it’s never happened before and they don’t know what to do… the only think they made me refund for 1 night, because I left earlier..

  Liked: The central location in Madrid was convenient. Unfortunately, this was the only positive aspect of our stay.

  Disliked: Our stay at Soho Boutique Gran Vía was extremely disappointing. We experienced an unacceptable number of problems, and the overall level of service was far below what anyone should expect from a property of this standard. First, there was a power outage during our stay, and the elevators were not working, causing significant inconvenience. Even worse, we had no hot water, which is one of the most basic necessities in any accommodation. The apartment was poorly equipped and lacked basic amenities. There was no electric kettle, and we were provided with only two blankets for our entire group. The sheets were extremely thin, and we were very cold at night. The room was not cleaned even once during our entire three-night stay. Our towels were never replaced, and when we requested these basic services, we were asked to pay extra. This was completely unacceptable and extremely disappointing. Additionally, there was no remote control for the television. Every time we turned it off, it would automatically turn back on after approximately one minute, making it impossible to keep it switched off. However, what made the experience particularly frustrating was the complete lack of customer service. There was no proper response to our complaints, no meaningful assistance, and no genuine effort to resolve any of the issues. We paid for a comfortable stay in a reputable property, but instead received an apartment that lacked basic facilities, proper maintenance, cleanliness, and essential services. The combination of no hot water, insufficient bedding, lack of cleaning, malfunctioning equipment, power outages, and poor customer service made our stay extremely unpleasant. This was one of the worst accommodation experiences we have ever had. We would absolutely not return and strongly advise other travelers to think twice before booking this property.
