  Disliked: Upon arrival, we were disappointed to find that the place had not been properly cleaned before our stay. We had to spend quite some time cleaning the entire place ourselves before we could comfortably settle in. The chairs and couch were visibly dirty, and the couch was also broken. There were marks and dirt on the walls, and the bathroom was also in a very poor state.

  The window-less apartment! Never again!

  Liked: Proximity to metro and supermarkets.

  Disliked: 1. We arrived after 23:00.The code given to us was wrong. No human help, only an AI chat saying the team was informed. By sheer luck we found the correct code after 90 mins. 2. No windows in the apartment. It was burning hot in 38 deg Madrid summer heat. No ventilator for the person sleeping on the sofa bed.. 3. Dustbin had no bin liners. 4. One lamp in the bedroom had no bulb. 5. Knives were very blunt 6. Induction stove kept going off. Hard to cook with.

  Overall, the property did not meet our expectations in terms of comfort and privacy

  Disliked: From the photos, we did not fully understand that this was a converted ground-floor shop rather than a traditional two-bedroom apartment. There was one enclosed bedroom at the back with no window, while the front area combined the bed, sofa, and kitchen, which meant there was very little privacy for the second couple. During very hot weather in Madrid, the lack of windows to open and the absence of air conditioning made the space quite uncomfortable. At night, there was also some disturbance from people passing by, the rubbish collection truck, and cars manoeuvring with headlights shining inside. Overall, the layout and comfort level were not what we had expected.

  Bad stay

  Liked: Location

  Disliked: There was a bucket full of water in the middle of the main bedroom, with water continuously dripping from the ceiling. It is unacceptable to rent out an apartment in such poor condition. The property only offered me an alternative accommodation the night before my departure, which was more of an inconvenience than a solution, as it required relocating to a different neighbourhood. I was repeatedly assured that the maintenance team would come to fix the issue, but this never happened. Very disappointing experience. I would not recommend staying here.
