  Liked: The location was great with good restaurants nearby.

  Disliked: It was hard to understand how to unlock the building gate while going in and out. We arrived at night and found other guests struggling with the same problem. Luckily we had an email with the code but others didn’t.

  The most disappointing experience I’ve ever had!

  Liked: None

  Disliked: My Booking.com reservation was confirmed, payment had been deducted, and I had completed online check-in. Yet Amazinn Places threatened to cancel my booking after the scheduled check-in time, despite no cancellation notice from Booking.com. There was nobody available to communicate with, and I only got access to my room at almost 6 PM instead of 3 PM. To make matters worse, the room was freezing and the heating barely worked. Travelers, beware! Such a lack of communication and professionalism is unacceptable. I strongly advise thinking twice before booking here.

  Coveniently central

  Liked: The location is fantastic and very central. The cleaners were very friendly and helpful.

  Disliked: When we arrived, we paid extra for early check-in which was supposed to be between 11am and 1:30pm. We didn’t get in until 1:45pm which was quite the hassle since we were with a kid. And had it not been for the cleaner I don’t know how we would have reached them since they weren’t picking up the phone. There was another option which cost less from 1:30pm to 3pm. We should have been reimbursed for this but weren’t. The beds were also super uncomfortable and could hardly be called mattresses.

  Liked: The only good thing about this place is its location

  Disliked: You will be extremely disappointed the moment you walk into the room. It looks absolutely nothing like the photos. There are only two small windows, both facing a ventilation shaft, making the room dark, gloomy, and suffocating. The concrete floors made the room extremely cold. Since the air conditioning wouldn’t switch to heating mode, I messaged the host, but they never responded. As a result, we had to stay in a freezing cold room. On top of that, the room was not clean at all. Even the toilet hadn’t been flushed

  Fine for a night; but you can get better deals in Madrid

  Liked: It is in close proximity to the parts of Madrid I like to visit, close to nightlife and shopping. Clean, friendly staff at the door and maintaining the space.

  Disliked: Lots of noise, both from the street and other rooms. Although I knew it would have a digital key card to access the room, I find those a bit annoying. Room cramped and furniture isn’t the most comfortable. I guess I would be less judgmental had it been budget prices, but for what they charge, I could have found a better hotel room elsewhere.
