  Good spot will return if AC is working

  Liked: Great location, comfortable room, and friendly staff.

  Disliked: No AC even though it said it had one.

  Perfect if you need to stay somewhere central

  Liked: Fantastic location and the guy at the reception is helpful and speaks many languages!

  Disliked: The room is pretty basic, but fine. Yes, the mattress is hard but I like hard beds so not an issue for me. The breakfast was rudimentary with service to match:-/ If you just need a base to explore Madrid, this is fine but it is not a luxury stay by any means.

  Good hotel with a good price and good location

  Liked: The room was clean, it is a very good size room with a little kitchen area, very useful. The staff was very helpful at our arrival and let us leave our luggage, since it was too early to check-in. I liked the area and it is very near to a bus station and metro. We walked to El Retiro Park, it was about 20 minutes but a nice walk. Just next door to the hotel there is a nice bar.

  Disliked: The check-in process was a little long, and we came 2 hours after the check-in time and the room was not ready, had to wait a while.

  I was supposed to be charged $939.29, but was charged $991

  Disliked: One of our bed was making noises, and I try to talk to the front desk, to see if we can move to different room, every time I go and try to talk to someone, no one wanted to talk in English and help, there was only one guy, who checked us in, was great and friendly
