  Overall a stressful experience

  Liked: The apartment itself is quite small but clean and matches the photo online. Adequate cooking utensils were provided.

  Disliked: The property asked for a 350 euro refundable deposit to be sent by wire transfer to their bank account. I did not want to pay the bank fee for this, so they provided me with a payment app to pay by credit card. The property wanted to give me the access codes for the doors the day before arrival, when I would be on a plane, so they provided it 3 days before arrival. When I arrived, the code for the outer gate worked, but the code for the door did not. Fortunately, someone left about the time I arrived, letting me into the building. Otherwise, I would have been stranded. The bed is a pull down from the wall. It has no box springs and the mattress was lumpy. Security was marginal. A man was there changing fire extinguishers and apparently did so while I wasn't in the unit. Shortly thereafter, some KY lubricant I had went missing. Fortunately, all my money was on my person and not left loose in the apartment. After returning home, it took the property almost 3 weeks to refund my deposit. The refund was only forthcoming after I threatened to do a chargeback on my credit card. The entire experience was stressful because the property was slow responding to my requests for information, did not provide correct access codes, and was resistant to refunding my deposit. The price was reasonable, but nevertheless I can't really recommend staying there if you're from the US.

  BIG FRAUD

  Liked: The location an the apartmant was good but The big disappointment was that 2 weeks after the end of the stay I did not receive back the guarantee of 350 euros paid before the stay even though the host himself wrote to me that everything is in order and he will refund the money. THE CONCLUSION IS THAT I WAS CHEATED, IT IS A FRAUD AND I DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHY THEY BEHAVE SO MISERABLE. I have been on booking for 12 years and I have never been scammed! They even had the nerve to ask me to rate their property with a 10.:-(

  Bad location, wrong description, too high price for value

  Disliked: I had to pay a deposit of Euro 350.- and got only returned Euro 250.-. I got very sick during my stay and could not clean the sink in the tiny kitchen. There was no dishwasher and I had to leave some fruit in the sink which stained it apperently. That is no problem to get rid of with the right products, but to deduct because of that Euro 100.- is simply unheard. In addition I asked many times for a receipt which I never received either. The place is called penthouse but is is only one of at least 10 appartements on the top floor and not even had a separate bedroom. The price is far too high not worth the place. I can not recommend anybody to stay there. Karina Fürst Norway
