Stay away bedbugs will bit you!

Liked: The location was in a nice part of the city although was better to take a cab or uber instead of walk to the city center. It was nice to have a big balcony although was of not use since the furniture was not set up and it was dusty and there were some dead plants not inviting or pleasant to look at, it look more like a stored furniture and not to the enjoyment of the customers.

Disliked: A lot of mishappenings at this apartment. 1. Although we paid in full almost €1,500 for 4 days, they sent several emails asking for a mere €100 deposit, threatening that if we did not pay, we wouldn't have access to the rental—even having paid in full several weeks ahead. That felt awful and totally unnecessary. 2. We were on vacation, so had little time to review emails, with the peace of mind of having paid in full for that flat. Once the deposit was done, they gave us the code, only to find that: 3. The flat does not look like the photos. It is an old, poorly decorated apartment with basic and cheap stuff. 4. The old couch that we slept on was infested with bedbugs, and we got badly bitten every night. We tried to leave, but It was impossible to find another accommodation on such short notice in Madrid. 5. The kitchen didn't have the minimum supplies, nor a single coffee pod, a little bit of sugar or salt. Nothing, only dish soap. 6. We were a party of 3 people, staying 4 days, and they only provided 2 toilet paper rolls, 1 tiny body soap as shown in the photos, and 1 small sachet of shampoo and 1 of conditioner. 7. I'm not sure what was the worst thing: the bedbugs or the awful, terrible smell when the AC was turned on. The stench of poop and rotten pipes was so bad that we would rather sleep with the heat ofmthe hot weather, than turn on that AC. 8. The apartment was not cleaned during our stay, nor were toiletries restocked, and I don't know why not, since we did not decline service. We also talked to people in other rentals in the building who were getting serviced. In summary, this has been the worst experience on any continent in more than 15 years that I've been using Booking.com. and being a vip member. I do not recommend this property to anyone. Save yourselves from bedbug bites, bad communication, old furniture, cheap sheets and towels, nothing looks organized or inviting for a customer paying a good amount of money.

Fine for a few days in Madrid. No frills, convenient location

Liked: Conveniently located next to the metro station. Nice enough as a fall-out for a few days, but no frills

Disliked: Some things were a bit run down, socket hanging out of the wall. Smallish bed.

    good

Liked: the apartment was comfy and mostly clean and in a really quiet and safe neighborhood + it had a big balcony

Disliked: there were many silverfish in the bathroom and the power outlet at the bed didn’t work, the ac in the bedroom would turn on randomly during the night while making noises and it was right up the bed which was not really pleasant, also they won’t answer you on the weekends
