  Poor quality apartment with a few flaws - would avoid

  Liked: Location is good, host is somewhat reachable and there was washing machine and they allowed late check out on last day which was the only silver lining

  Disliked: One bathroom door doesn't close and the other didn't have latch, washing machine would only occasionally work, boiler stops heating after 1 person takes shower, constant horrible smell in basement, rooms are in basement which isn't mentioned anywhere and very inconvenient to get to, iron board is smaller than veg chopping board, there was no kettle in kitchen, property house number isn't mentioned on booking so had to wander about and call host, call number didn't work and can only message the host and had to wait for reply, sink holes were plugged initially and had to hammer with fork to open them, hair blow dryer started smoking as soon as plugged in

  Liked: Very friendly and helpful stuff. The apartment has a large space, comfortable to stay in it for 6 people. Everything looks like on the photos. The neighbourhood isn't the nicest of Madrid but you feel safe and there are excelent food places and shops.

  Disliked: There are two bedrooms in the basement which have airconditioning and air fan but the bathroom there needs some fan to avoid the bad smell but it was not disturbing our stay.

  Liked: The price was good. Close to the bus stations and metro. Located in a sort of a Chinatown - some great restaurants

  Disliked: Communication with the owner wasn’t the best, I had to call him because he wasn’t answering my messages. The apartment has 2 floors, the bedrooms are located downstairs in a basement. In one of the bedrooms there is a big area on the ceiling that is peeling and chipping. There was only one trash bag and the soap in one of the bathrooms was nearly finished when we arrived.
