  Great value for your money and an easy walk to Plaza de España and the city center

  Liked: The Exe is not right in the city center, but for me it was a perfect location as I was arriving/departing by bus from Moncloa station. The roof top bar is wonderful. Rooms were clean and comfortable. I thought the hotel was a great value for the money.

  Disliked: **Extremely Disappointing Experience – Terrible Customer Service and Complete Disregard for Guests** I am extremely disappointed with my experience at EXE Moncloa. The level of customer service, professionalism, and respect for guests was absolutely unacceptable. I booked and paid for a Deluxe Room, but upon arrival, I was given a Standard Room instead. Had I not repeatedly insisted on receiving the room I actually booked and paid for, I would have spent my entire stay in the wrong room. What makes this experience even worse is the hotel's complete disregard for my complaints. I requested a refund for the first night, during which I did not receive the room I had booked. To this day, the hotel has not responded to my requests or provided any resolution. Even Booking.com has contacted the hotel multiple times regarding my complaint, yet the hotel has completely ignored their inquiries as well. It is shocking that a hotel would not only ignore its own guest but also fail to respond to the booking platform itself. **This is not simply about a room or a refund. It is about honesty, accountability, professionalism, and basic respect for paying customers.** Mistakes can happen in any hotel, but deliberately ignoring complaints and refusing to communicate with guests is completely unacceptable. I paid for a specific room, expected to receive what I booked, and instead had to waste my vacation time fighting for something that should have been provided from the beginning. **I strongly advise future guests to be cautious when booking this hotel.** Based on my experience, if something goes wrong, do not expect the management to take responsibility or even respond to your concerns. A deeply frustrating and disappointing experience. I certainly would not recommend EXE Moncloa.

  Was my first and last time experience within this chain of hotel. Too overrated and overpriced

  Liked: The location looks convenient near the downtown

  Disliked: Despite that I paid almost 500 euros per night during October ( high season)! i couldn't sleep the first night because of the external noise, very bad quality of the bed and overall low quality service ( including basic breakfast). Have asked for another room and got a new one the day after but not really better except a below than average bed! Not sure how it's rated as a 4 stars hotel should be at max a 3 stars. Hotel is first quality and service for the customer ( not only roof terrasse..)

  Great location and very nice rooms

  Liked: This hotel is in an excellent location with a free bus right outside the front door that takes you to the heart of Madrid. It's only three or four stops to the Plaza Espana or Grand Vie. The are lots of restaurants near by and great local food. Also a couple of mini marts for basic supplies. The room was nicely appointed, and we had a terrace with a fabulous view. Would highly recommend the location. Really nice pool bar on the roof for watching the sunset.

  Disliked: The hotel is pretty old, the furniture,doors and other details need to be repaired. The breakfast is 6 out of 10, lack of vegitables, eggs diversity, coffe was bad.

Please note that the rooftop sun terrace and swimming pool are both seasonal, open from 09 June until 10 September.

The pool hours are from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. exclusive use for hotel guests. Pool towels are free but they work under a deposit of €10 that will have to be paid at reception.

The terrace bar is open from June 09 until October 15, it opens from 7:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.
