  Great overall

  Liked: The place was clean, very convenient to all the shops, groceries and restaurants. Very noisy during the evening. 7-1am people eating at cafes below us. Several restaurants below us on the other side of the street with outside tables. They were full every night with people eating and drinking. The living room was very noisy even with balcony doors closed. However, the bedrooms were in the back and very quiet. The night life didn't bother us to sleep.

  Liked: The location is perfect, the apartment is quiet even though it's nestled in a vibrant part of town. Everything you need is close by, Plaza de España, supermarket, restaurants, nightclubs, metro links, temple de Debod (for the sunsets, highly recommended), the palace is a short walk away. The place is excellent.
