  Great location, but impossible to find the place

  Liked: Location

  Disliked: Impossible to find the front door! The hotel know this, so they deal with it by ringing you shortly before your indicated check in time to explain how to find it. The problem is, I do not speak Spanish and I do not take incoming calls to my mobile from Spanish telephone numbers.

  Worth the location if you need to stay in la gran via

  Liked: Location is great with several lockers, restaurants and public transportation stops in the very near by. The place is located in the heart of la gran via perfect for shopping and well connected.

  Disliked: No AC which makes it almost impossible to stay indoors. The staff came across unfriendly (it could be that was just the personality of the lady). No luggage storage available but like I said there are several lockers 5 mins walking distance. Very expensive for what it offers (facility wise), I guess you pay for the great location! So it also worked very well for us.

  Cosy apartment at the heart of the city

  Liked: We loved the location and to people watch from the balcony overlooking gran via. It was east to find the building and the host met us at the main door to lead us to the apartment. We apartment was cosy and clean. As it doesn’t have air-conditioning, the host was kind enough to provide us with 2 fans. We were in Madrid in late June so it was not so hot yet and the fans and the ventilated apartment made our stay comfortable.

  Disliked: We didn't realise that the apartment had no air-conditioning but as said above, we had a comfortable stay.

  Liked: Excellent location in the center of the city. Cozy and clean apartment. Host was very attentive giving us option to leave luggage in apartment before check in hour during cleaning.

  Convenient short stay in the heart of Madrid

  Liked: The room was small but clean and had everything you need for a short stay. The lady at the reception welcomed us very nicely and little cafes and restaurants as well as shops are just a short walk away.

  Disliked: The only thing I would recommend is to put some indication on the bell, since we didn’t know where to go and just followed someone inside 😅
