  Normal. Good place, bad administration

  Liked: The location was great, close to the city center and tourist areas. There were lots of shops and cafés nearby. Everything was within walking distance.

  Disliked: I arrived early — it just happened that way. I checked out at 11, arrived at 12, and the check-in was supposed to be at 3 PM. Until I asked several times for instructions, only around 2:40 the host (or administrator, I’m not sure who exactly) finally wrote to me saying that unfortunately they couldn’t provide me with the apartment, because the previous guests left it in a terrible condition. So they suggested giving me a different apartment instead. I said okay, fine — they sent me a video, and the video looked acceptable. Then the real ‘quest’ began. I had to walk about 20 minutes with a huge suitcase to some shop where the keys were supposed to be. In the end, the administrator told me that unless I paid again, he wouldn’t give me the PIN code to the key box. So I had to pay once more, even though I had already booked through Booking — although the administrator apparently canceled that booking later. Then it turned out there were no keys in the box, so I had to walk double the distance to the new apartment. When I arrived, they didn’t open the door for a long time. Then a man who was repairing the toilet let me in. I have absolutely no complaints about the workers — they did everything well. But when I was finally inside the apartment, the toilet repair was still going on. In the video there was an oven, but in reality there was none — later they came to install a door instead of the missing oven space, basically covering the hole. They did, however, provide a new microwave. Later, when I reported that the radiator wasn’t working, they said “okay, I’ll tell the manager,” and nothing changed during the 10 days I lived there — the radiator never worked. The apartment is in a courtyard-type building, and I lived on the second floor, so it was very cold. Eventually I just had to use the AC. I can’t say the apartment was super clean or freshly renovated — it was okay, but definitely not great. And the administrator’s communication was just horrible. They took a ve

  Disliked: ⚠️ Warning: Please be careful and do not rent from them under any circumstances. I had a very unpleasant and stressful experience with this company. After a long and exhausting trip, I arrived at the address they had provided, only to find that there was no clear entrance and no one there to receive me. • My attempts to contact them via WhatsApp and phone initially went unanswered. • After a long wait, they finally replied with excuses about being “too busy” and gave irrelevant, unprofessional responses. • They then claimed they had arranged another place for me, but when I asked whether it would be at the same price and quality, they stopped responding altogether. This left me stranded late at night in Madrid, under a lot of stress. In my view, they are highly untrustworthy, deceptive, and fraudulent.

  Liked: The rental company responsible for all these small houses in chamberi are just the worst, they lie about their premises and use fake photos and reviews, they offered a different house, more expensive and in a very bad situation, it was a take it or leave it deal although our booking was supposed to be cheaper and a better place, the company’s name is not appearing on the deals but once we booked other places and discovered it’s under the same company we cancelled all bookings with them

  Genial

  Liked: The location is perfect; everything is close by, and the metro is also helpful. The hosts were great with me at all times.

  Disliked: The apartment is not excessively large and they do not provide towels.
