  Liked: The location was perfect just 5 min's walk from Puerta de Angel Metro station and a couple of stops from Sol Metro station in the city centre. The room's were absolutely spotless and everything you needed was there with a fully equipped kitchen. The nearest attraction's were the Cathedral and the Palace which were about 15 min's away. Sergio the owner couldn't have been nicer and more helpful.

  Disliked: There was not one thing bad I could say as I had a great experience and would have no problem going back there in the future.

  Liked: The host is friendly and the location is very good and close to the center. You can walk or take a bus or metro easily. Around the apartment, there are cafes and even a mercado. The neighborhood is safe. Recommend!

  Disliked: Room's window opens to the enclosed balcony. Otherwise it is an enough room to stay.

  Solo travel in Madrid

  Liked: Sergio is very attentive to the guest needs. This place is ideal for people who want a quiet place to sleep and less expensive because in the central streets everything was too expensive to stay and loud especially in the late afternoon. The accommodation is spotless, organized and feels home. I used the microwave and the refrigerator to store my take away food and manage to do laundry in the morning. Sergio allows us to use the kitchen like heating food, making coffee and storing foods. It is easy to go to the central streets. I take a bus 138 and get off at Plaza de Espanya, then the same bus 138 then get off on Caramuel then 5 minutes walk to the accommodation. There are convenience stores or mini markets around the area so you can grab some fruits or a bottle of water. Most of the stores are open at 10am but there are coffee shops around the area. You Will enjoy madrid it is easy to go around because it is not as big as Barcelona plus the Park is very cosy. The room I had is comfortable for a single/solo travel, not too big and not too small.
