  Practical accommodation if you travel with friends. Only 2min from Tube station

  Liked: It's in the suburb, but really close to the metro station which can take you to the center or to other lines in few minutes. Nice big forest nearby, where you can bike, run or walk. Lidl and Mercadona within walking distance (maybe 10-15 minutes mostly through parks) Owner almost always available, if you need anything. Clean. No problem with finding the place. Window blinds that can make total dark.

  Disliked: It's really just a small room, only for sleeping, can't really hang out there much. Owner lives with you, you only get s room in her flat, which is not a plus neither a minus, you just have to take that into consideration. It's on the ground floor, so you hear everyone on the street (we didn't mind but some might, especially in the night)

  A fantastic, economical way to explore Madrid

  Liked: This accommodation had all the facilities you'd expect of a flat shared with the owner. It was in the superb location on various and metro and bus routes and right next to the Casa del campo where we went running on one of the days. It was in a quiet residential area, so no traffic noise at night but very easy to get into the centre of Madrid. There was a lovely family bakery close by where you could get also buy a coffee to get started in the morning. There was ample space in the fridge to keep food cold. The host was really welcoming and helpful with any questions.

  Disliked: Take note there is no kitchen ware and only a microwave available in the kitchen for warming anything up. This was OK for us but would not work so well for a long stay. There was no obvious supermarket/restaurant close by but we found both 10-15 minutes walk away.
