I needed an emergency hotel after a diverted flight, I did a quick check in but this was not a pleasant experience

Liked: It was close to Chamartin. I needed it as emergency and it sufficed… It seems new all furniture

Disliked: - The pillow was extremely thin, impossible to sleep - The feeling of being in a normal apartment that has been converted to a 3 room hostel its nauseous. New reality of Madrid and other european cities. - Air conditioner from other rooms was making noises the full night - The location of the place is slightly misleading if you are in a hurry. It would be better to point out to the actual apartment. - Bathroom was not able to be locked

No hot water in the apartment

Disliked: We were a group of 6 people and only had 4 towels to take showers, we could deal with that, it's ok, but not having hot water in the apartment is a bit too much...

A decent place to spend the night between flights

Liked: This is the kind of setup where everything happens remotely — you pay, register, and pick up the key from a safe box. I messed up the online registration and ended up outside in front of a locked door, but it all got sorted out pretty quickly — their support was very responsive both by email and phone, so I didn’t spend more than five minutes on it. I was traveling with a dog; the staff member first gave me all the check-in instructions and access codes, and only then asked me to pay an extra €5 for the dog — much appreciated. The room was clean and comfortable, perfect for a couple of nights. The bathroom was spotless, and the kitchen was well equipped with a fridge, microwave, and dishes. The sound isolation between rooms was decent. I really liked the neighborhood — very calm, with nice places to eat and take a walk before bed — and, most importantly, it’s super close to the airport.

Disliked: It’s kinda sad that everything is remote now and there’s no one to actually talk to anymore, but I guess that’s just how things are and it’s not going to change.
