Despite the lack of hotel like services the hostel is located in an excellent spot and the staff were friendly

Liked: Location. Close to Atocha train station and walking distance to the center of Madrid

Disliked: No coffee maker, nor refrigerator in room. No vending machines around. It is similar to an BRB.

Liked: The location of the hostal is perfect. So many restaurants, bars and shops. Walking distance to Prado Museum, Retiro Park, Naval Museum and 15 minute walk to train station. The room was large and clean. Loved the water bubbler in the common area. Hostal on the second floor but a lift available.

Disliked: Only downside for us was the size of the bathroom. Quite small.

    Liked: Location, Location, location.

Disliked: Rooms are sparse but it's cheap for where it is located. Good for a single traveler or a couple.

Liked: Madrid was the last stop of our trip to Spain. The hotel is about a 20-minute walk from Almudena train station. We struggled a little with our luggage, but this was probably because we had checked the location incorrectly. We also forgot to let the hotel know that we would be arriving late because we were quite tired after our trip. We arrived at around midnight, but we found the hotel easily. The gentleman working there was very friendly and welcoming, and he helped us with the luggages and check-in right away. We stayed here for three nights and were very happy with our stay. The location was excellent, as it was close to Gran Vía and many other popular tourist attractions. We could reach almost everywhere on foot, usually within a maximum of 25 minutes. Thank you very much for your kindness and hospitality. We really enjoyed our stay!
