  A convenient location for solo travelers to stay at in Madrid

  Liked: Very good location, close to a Metro station, and walking distance from the main station, and to plenty of city landmarks. Despite that it was a neighborhood where locals lived and hung out in mostly.

  Disliked: The bare basics in the room and bathroom. An extra towel or soap dispenser couldn't possibly have hurt! The check in process was a little convoluted, I thought. And the access (especially for the building entrance) could have been more seamless.

  Liked: The accommodation was lovely, clean and we were greeted with a huge smile and very clear instructions when we arrived. Situated within walking distance to the metro and train station and very close to the supermarket.

  Great for the train station, cafe's and bars. Clean and pleasant room

  Liked: Lovely clean bedding and the room was very simple, but adequate. Air-conditioning worked well, TV was simple to use, enough plugs, table and chair, and bedside table.

  Disliked: Finding the hotel was a little difficult as its on the 4th floor of a block, and there is no guidance, it was the laundry man that directed us to the lift and 4th floor. The bathroom was OK, but the shower head holder was loose, making it difficult to position the shower head, and the hose and shower head had seen better days, meaning the water did not spray very well. Fix this and higher score.
