Fabulous
Liked: The location was great, very close to Metro Plaza Espana and easy walking distance to Gran Via in one direction and Jardines de Sabatini and the Palacio Real de Madrid in another. Being set back a block from the Plaza meant that it was fairly quiet at night time and as the beds were very comfortable, we were able to sleep well each night of our stay.
Disliked: We booked a superior twin bedroom for our 3 night stay in Madrid paying over €350 a night before taxes. Passing through the hotel on our way to breakfast each morning, we saw many of the rooms being prepared for guests, and it felt very much our room was far from superior - certainly in terms of size. The reception staff (all male) did not feel easy to communicate with (we're english speaking British) and as we were never asked how we were enjoying our stay, it seemed to difficult to start a conversation about whether our room was in fact superior. The breakfast worked for us but there is very little hot food items (only omelette, some kind of bacon and what looked like frankfurter sausages - all precooked and kept warm in buffet chafing dishes).

Brilliant hotel in a perfect location
Liked: Absolutely lovely hotel right in the heart of the city. Decent sized rooms. Great bathroom. The staff were excellent. The breakfast was great. Good choice for everyone. I booked this as I was attending a conference which was taking place in a much more expensive hotel close by. This was a great choice. Would highly recommend

Liked: The reception was very good, with a coffe machine and water machine..
Great stay in Madrid for exploring!
Liked: The location is fantastic and the service at reception, especially with Manu was excellent. We had a small issue with the room but asked for support and were changed timely, making the rest of our stay super. Breakfast is simple but all you need.
