  Perfect location and friendly staff

  Liked: Location was great and also the room was quiet when compared to the noise outside, so that was a bonus for us. Staff were also very helpful as I needed a dr on my last night.

  Disliked: would have been good to have a kettle in the room

  Liked: The hotel is very clean inside, including rooms, common spaces and hallways. My room was spacious and well equipped, including a fridge, TV, hairdryer, hospitality set, etc. The bed, sheets and pillows were very clean. The hotel staff is very kind and helpful, it was possible to ask everything and get help. The location is perfect, the strict city centre of Madrid + excellent connections by public transportation.

  Disliked: Poor WiFi, almost unavailable in the room. In case of being accommodated in the rooms located at the rear of the building the view is on the concrete wall. The door is not soundproof, which allows noise from the hallway to be heard.

  Basic and affordable, with an unbeatable location in Madrid

  Liked: A very simple, basic hotel at an affordable price, but the location is unbeatable. It’s just 20 metres from Puerta del Sol and the metro station, so getting around the city couldn’t be easier. If you’re travelling by car, the Plaza del Carmen car park is only about 100 metres away, which is a big plus in the city centre. Great choice if you mainly need a place to sleep and want to be right in the heart of Madrid.

  Disliked: My room was an interior one, so the only window faced a back wall with no view or much natural light. The hotel also doesn’t serve breakfast, though that’s not really a problem given the huge choice of cafés and bakeries just around the corner.

  great location, great staff, comfy room and beds!

  Liked: the location is great, right across is Carrefour that opens until 1am. Super convenient. the staff was very welcoming and helpful.

  Disliked: it was a bit noisy during our first night, because there was a demonstration out on Puerta del Sol.

  Great location, a bit old fashion but clean

  Liked: Location is a huge plus, walkable to everywhere. It was clean. Staff very helpful. You have in front a express carefour, which is very convenient. Many nearby restaurants. I recommend the restautant "Ciudad de Tui", which is 100 mts away. The best Paella I have eaten in Spain.

  Disliked: Shower is quite small and uncomfortable, although good run of water, it is just the space too tight. The fridge in the room didn't work.

  Liked: Friendly helpful staff. Clean and quiet room

  Disliked: Other people have mentioned the showers. They take some understanding but once set up are great. Maybe some instructions would be useful
