  Great experience for a a few weeks stay in Madrid

  Liked: * Great location. * Convenient for public transportation. * El Retiro provides an excellent ambiance just the street across. Major attractions such as Prado and Raina Sofia just a nice walk across through the lovely El Retiro park * Liked the lively get up with paintings and novelty artificial grass wallpaper wall and ceiling.

  Disliked: *Noise from the street can be annoying for light sleepers. (We did not find it too bad but recommend the property to consider the investment of replacing the glass doors with double layer noise isolation ones. ) *Also the cooking vessels were too large for a couple. Pans should be replaced since the coating is scarred.

  Unbeatable location for the price

  Liked: The location and the open concept & high ceilings

  Disliked: The door/window are not isolated. Given that you are in a main floor/street apartment, you could hear people's conversations and the garbage truck as if they were in the room with you. For those that have trouble sleeping, like my husband, a good seat of earplugs is necessary.
