  Liked: Nice apartment bit far from the city centre, but close to the metro station. It is in walking distence to the Bernabeu. If you arrive after 6pm you will be charged by extra money, but they flexible with the check -ot time.

  Overall Experience This was, by far, the worst apartment experience I have ever had

  Liked: The location was the main positive aspect of the apartment. There is a bakery, pharmacy, and bookshop downstairs, as well as several supermarkets nearby. The building is securely locked, which was also reassuring. The location would normally be particularly convenient for public transport, as the Cuzco metro station is nearby, although it was closed for construction during our stay.

  Disliked: Small, Single Air Conditioner The apartment was advertised as air-conditioned, but there is only one small portable Whirlpool unit for the entire two-bedroom apartment. It requires the window to remain open to exhaust hot air, which also lets hot air in, making it difficult to cool the apartment. The air-conditioner filter was extremely dirty, with visible dust and debris, and there was a strong unpleasant smell when it was switched on. Two of the four fans also had broken legs and could not stand properly. The agency sent someone to repair them, but the fans were still far from ideal. Kitchen – Broken Equipments The kitchen is reasonably stocked with plates, bowls and basic items for four people. However, the oven control panel, dishwasher and extractor fan were all broken. These are basic appliances that should be functioning in an apartment advertised for guests. Laundry & Bathroom – Limited Supplies For a 7-night stay, only two bin bags, two washing-machine capsules and four rolls of toilet paper were provided. We had to purchase additional supplies ourselves. The advertised toiletries were also very basic: essentially the same inexpensive liquid was provided as hand wash, shampoo and body wash. Once these ran out, we had to buy our own. Small Bedroom - dirty mattress and no blackout curtain The curtain provides privacy but does not block out light, so the room becomes very bright as soon as the sun comes up, around 6am. One of the mattresses was old and sank significantly in the middle, making it uncomfortable to sleep on. There was also a large dark stain on the mattress, as shown in the attached photos.

  Stress free and simply wonderful

  Liked: Everything. Property and host were superb. We will be back.

  Disliked: TV did not work for us - however only a minor detail. In the grand context, the accommodation was first class!

  Beautiful City and Peaceful Apartments

  Liked: The landlord was extremely accommodating, proactively enquiring about our arrival time and offering flexible check-in arrangements.This place comfortably accommodates five people without feeling cramped.The street is quiet but not too far from the city centre, just few minutes' walk to the metro station, with reasonably priced restaurants nearby.Next time I visit Madrid, I shall choose to stay here again.

  Disliked: One side of the shower cubicle is missing, leaving the bathroom very wet after showering.
