    Great location but basic

Liked: Excellent location. Delightful staff. Very helpful and excellent English. So many great restaurants and bars. Easy to walk to major tourist and shopping areas. Very nice continental breakfast included.

Disliked: Very expensive for 2 to 3 star hotel at €1357 for 3 nights. We stayed Saturday 24th October, checked our Tuesday 27th October 2026 and booked it about 3 weeks before our stay. Paid in full at the time of booking. Significant renovations taking place 7 days a week, so lots of drilling and banging up to 8pm even on Sunday. Tradesmen and staff using the only lift so quite a wait at times. Opposite a very noisy, popular nightclub, open all night until 6am. Lots of police action Saturday and Sunday night.

Convenient and clean basic Madrid accommodation

Liked: Location was great. Solid breakfast and modern bathroom.

Disliked: Unfortunately we were staying while a champions league game was happening so the price gouging was extreme - almost double the usual rate. There were also works going on nearby which were pretty noisy.

Great location and cleanliness and some of the staff were really nice and helpful. The breakfast let

Liked: The location, cleanliness and some of the staff were really good.

Disliked: The breakfast was pretty poor. The staff made your drink for you and the cereals were already on the counter in a bowl for you to select. The selection of food for breakfast wasn't very extensive either and some of the food (e.g. hard-boiled eggs and ham) didn't seem that fresh. There was a fair bit of renovation work going on and although the workmen tried to keep the noise to a minimum, you could still hear it quite often.

If you stay for 2 or 3 nights, I recommended

Liked: The location was excellent. All the major sights are nearby and within walking distance. The staff were lovely and friendly. The rooms were reasonably comfortable. Breakfast was a bit sparse, but overall, it’s a decent place to stay for a few days. t

Disliked: The only thing that caused me significant personal discomfort was the noise at night. was grea

Just really bad. A really horrible stay

Liked: The location and the staff was the only thing I liked about this hotel

Disliked: There was construction that kept waking us up at 6am. The noise was unbearable because we had very bad people next to our room. They kept leaving trash in the room and not cleaning it properly. It really was unbearable and we had come for business so waking up refreshed was of high priority and that was really impossible to do. Absolutely horrible! Never again!

Warning, very hard to get any sleep

Liked: The staff tried, but the hotel is not a place anyone should stay.

Disliked: The street it is on was a night spot for revelers. Sat/Sun party ended at 7 am. The noise from the street made sleeping very, very hard. Again, the staff were very kind, but they obviously have no control over what goes on on the street.
