  More pros than cons

  Liked: Very good location, comfortable & clean apartment. Lots to do in the neighbourhood, which feels very safe. Met in person by a personable representative for a hand over of the keys. The apartment is on the ground floor, but is perfectly secure. Kitchen & small lounge as well as patio. Three bedrooms, two singles & one double, all en-suite (toiletries provided). Immediate response when we alerted them to a minor piece of damage that we noticed shortly after arriving. Overall, this was a decent place to stay for the price.

  Disliked: The decoration is a little tired, the apartment lacks natural light, and some of the furniture is of the more cheap variety (but still perfectly functional). Some noise can carry from the other flats in the building above; this was the case when we stayed from Friday-Sunday, but no doubt this is typical of Madrid at the weekend. Do be aware that if you do not submit all personal details for the check- in for all guests well in advance do expect to be contacted, including by phone; they are very particular about this. Finally, we were told that the nearest metro stop was over 1 kilometre away. As we had been in city several times before, we suspected this not to be the case; the nearest metro stop in fact turned out to be about two minutes from the apartment; we were surprised that we had been misinformed about something that should have been so obvious.

  Liked: Three bedrooms- each with it's own bathroom and closet. Heating in February very handy. Newly furbished apartments. Everything was working. Full size fridge and Cooktop. Two bendrooms had working tables for pc. Walkable distance to all main museums, streets. Fast WIFI connection.

  Disliked: Double bed is on small size for two. No owen - small microwave instead.

  Good flat for communal group of 3 or 4. The things I have listed as negatives are easy (not expensive upgrades) which wo

  Liked: Location. 3 bathrooms, v clean, warm, great showers.

  Disliked: Bedside lights were USB plug ins. If you didn’t have a USB port with you to plug lamp in you couldn’t use the bedside lamps. This could have easily been avoided by supplying lamps that plugged straight into electric wall sockets (v cheap fix). Not enough comfy seating for number of beds. Only 2 people could sit on a sofa do really needed another 2 seater small sofa which would have been cosy but achievable. Better relaxing lighting in kitchen lounge (couple of lamps).

  Great Location & Confortable

  Liked: Great location, the apartment is small but at the same time comfortable, each room with their bathroom is great, AC was great and saved our trip as we hit a heat wave.

  Disliked: The living room is small and only fitted 1 couch so there was not much room for the four of us to be sitting.
