The inflated prices during peak time are criminal. I wouldn’t pay £100 a night for what I had

Liked: Location was good - nice neighbourhood.

Disliked: First room I checked into after paying over £500 per night was truly like a prison cell. Bed pushed up against the wall, tiny room, view from window was onto a metal staircase and therefore hardly any natural light. Awful. The staff changed my room and ‘upgraded’ me. The second room was bigger, yes, but soulless and no tea/coffee in the room. The first jail cell did have tea/coffee so it seems I lost that pleasure when ‘upgraded’.

Overall we were happy with our room

Liked: It was clean, a nice size room, quiet, had a good refrigerator, shower had real hot water, overall a nice room.

Disliked: It was not in the center. The center of town was 45 minutes away by foot.

The hotel was unclean, poorly managed, and far from four-star quality, leading to my disappointment

Liked: I liked only the location.

Disliked: My experience at the hotel was disappointing. The property was not clean, particularly the rooms and bathrooms. When we turned off the air conditioning, a sewage smell permeated my room. Upon check-in, the staff was quick but not thorough; they hardly explained anything to me. Additionally, items in the refrigerator were not replaced unless I specifically asked. I also had to request replacement Kleenex. This hotel does not meet the standards of a four-star establishment. I would not choose to stay here again.
