Very good
Great location and great value for Madrid
Liked: Very good value. The rooms are small but modern. The location is great, walking to the Gran Vía in 20 minutes or taking a quick Metro ride to Opera. Beautiful park next door and nice restaurants in the area. The Pio Principe shopping center is very convenient also for some shopping. Thanks for storing our luggage for a few days before our arrival, really appreciated that!
Disliked: The pillows are very small and it's only one per person. I'm sure they would have given us more but we were to tired to go down and ask for more.
Liked: Very comfortable apartment, super facilities, oustandign location
Disliked: When you rent an apartment for a very short stay you should have essentials included ec basic cutlery. Breakfasts was very good, but it was slow to get started opening a few minutes late and worth only one person handling the morning rush.
Good spot!
Liked: Great location and only 3 mins by foot from the metro/subway. Spacious and clean rooms with comfortable beds. Has a gym and cooking area. Shopping center (Mercadona and more) accross the street front of the hotel. Restaurants nearby.
Disliked: OK'ish breakfast. Does the trick to start off the morning.
Never again. Worst hotel ever
Disliked: The windows did not close properly, and the noise from the street was very loud the whole night. The bed was half broken, and very noisy at every movement. Worst thing: the drains smell from sewage, at a level I couldn't believe it. This made me leave the hotel before than expected. It was disgusting.
Excellent stay, great location
Liked: Excellent hotel with a smooth and efficient check-in process. The location is great, making it a very convenient choice. One thing to note: I accidentally booked two rooms for one person instead of two guests. An additional supplement was required to add the second person, even though breakfast was not included in the booking.
Disliked: The main downside was the maintenance of the common areas. There were some scratches and damaged sections of the wall in the corridor, which could benefit from some attention.
Liked: Great location. Really nice gym
Disliked: Very disappointing experience, especially considering the price. I specifically booked this accommodation because it was advertised as a studio apartment with a kitchen, as I wanted to be able to prepare my own meals and work during my stay. Although the room had a cooktop, fridge and microwave, there was absolutely no kitchen equipment provided. Not even basic cutlery, a plate, a glass for water or a cup for tea. I was told these items weren't available to rent for short stays either. I honestly don't understand the point of advertising a kitchen when guests have no way of actually using it. There was even a dining bench with chairs, but nothing to eat or drink with! The bathroom was also disappointing. It was designed as an accessible wet room, but water spread across much of the bathroom when showering, making it uncomfortable to use. There was also no suitable power outlet for the hairdryer. Another frustrating experience was when I tried to close the blackout blind to have an afternoon nap, and the entire blind came down. When I asked reception whether I could change rooms, the response was simply no, without any apparent effort to check availability. Maintenance eventually fixed it, but I lost the only two hours I had available to rest. My room was next to a main door entrance and the slamming of the door woke me up every time someone walked through it. Finally, the communal café/workspace was one of the features I was looking forward to using, but it was completely closed over the weekend, which was another disappointment. Overall, the accommodation was expensive for what was provided. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone looking for a functional studio apartment where they can cook and work.
