  Liked: This is a pleasant, comfortable apartment very near Reina Sofia. Our kids loved the lofted layout. Although the building may feel a tad run down, in the words of our 8 year old "the outside like didn't seem happy...but inside it's awesome!" The layout is compact but very clevor with lots of storage space and cooking materials. It fit our family of 4 easily. Check-in/out was simple with strong communication from the operators. We had no issues. Location was ideal: minutes to after museums and Atocha station.

  Disliked: The AC works well. We were. Very comfortable on the lower level, even during a heat wave. The upper level was harder to cool down.

  Basic accommodation adequate for short stays if mostly out seeing local attractions

  Liked: Comfortable bed. Property with lift dishwasher & washing machine

  Disliked: Access to drop off luggage difficult. No view at all from apartment ( windows opaque as looked onto lift access). No dining table. Not able to stand in loft even for us short people. Shower leaked from base and from hose below shower head

  Great location. Good AC. Poor and unreliable access to stay after paying over €200 per day with €200 deposit

  Liked: Great location. 2 ACs. One better than another.

  Disliked: Like previous posts since 2024, the check-in process was cumbersome. I have stayed in 5 properties among Madrid and Seville. This check-in was the only bad one. You had to hope that the outside door and then later the door to the stairs were open. If not, you need to hope that another random resident would open those doors and let you through. Once you have access to the stairs, you need to climb 5 flights up to reach your apartment door. Then, using your mobile phone assuming it has power and internet connection, you press access code near door and then swipe open on the app. The door would sound but not open consistently. It took minutes. Worse thing was that upon entering, the elevator key along with outside door key were missing for us. Not on hanger behind door and, later we found out, not in spare key box next to the door. We had to climb down and up to bring our luggage in. We had to call many times to convey this problem using my cellphone with international rates to eventually have someone deliver the spare keys to us. We waited almost 90 minutes. We did get an apology and the hope that all will be well after this ordeal.

  Disappointing

  Liked: The location was very good and central. Close to Atocha train station and very easy to walk to most areas of Madrid.

  Disliked: The photos of the apartment were a little misleading. The bathroom was also quite small. Rather than provide many kitchen utensils & cleaning products for someone to cook & clean with - provide little things like coffee pods, tea bags, sugar, small containers of milk for the coffee and tea. These were the useful things we appreciated at all the other apartments that we stayed at during our trip through Spain & Portugal. Also, having to put down a 200 euro security deposit was unnecessary. No other apartment on our trip did this. The upstairs attic space is useless. The instructions to access the apartment are initially quite frustrating, especially after a long plane trip.

  Overall was good stay; near everthing you need

  Liked: - Cozy comfy Flat. - well equipped.

  Disliked: - No Youtube or smart TV option. - First Check in was so confusing.( so many instructions)
