  Liked: Communication with hosts was clear and friendly, excellent location well connected to plenty of public transit, bars, restaurants/cafes, supermarkets. Space was comfortable and clean, A/C and wifi worked great.

  Disliked: Sloping ceilings and bathroom door frame were low for someone over 6ft. This isn't a complaint about the space, the apartment is depicted accurately the photos - just something to note for tall guests!

  Great place in central Madrid

  Liked: The apartment is bigger than the pictures let on, a really decent sized living room and good sized bedroom, with lots of seating areas and mirrors. The location was fantastic, close to several metro lines if you need them but also walkable to many major attractions and excellent food spots. Hosts were very friendly and accommodating, allowing us to drop bags off and check in earlier and check out later too. Would definitely recommend!

  Disliked: The mattress was slightly too firm for my preference and the shower was quite small.

  Liked: The location is excellent, right in the centre and close to a metro station, making it easy to get around. The apartment having a lift is a bonus! Communication with the host was great throughout the stay. The check-in and check-out process was simple and smooth, which made everything stress-free. The apartment maintains a great temperature in both hot and cold days, adding to the overall comfort. It was clean and felt safe.

  Disliked: Some small maintenance details, mainly general wear and tear, could benefit from a bit of attention. There was also a little mould in the shower - that can easily be fixed. Additionally, as the building is older, the walls are quite thin, so some noise from neighbours can occasionally be heard, which might be noticeable for light sleepers. That said, these were relatively minor compared to the overall experience. It remains a great option for location, comfort, and convenience, with only a few small areas that could be improved.

  Liked: Location and lift. Good hot water. Good skylights & ventilation

  Disliked: Advertised picture of the apartment gave a false impression. The wooden rafters are at a very low angle, causing most of the room unable to be used. I hit my head on them many times even though I was bending over most of time. Kitchen could not fit 2 people, bed hard, pillows flat, shower was tiny & my head was above the shower screen.

  Disliked: If you are taller than 6ft/183cm you might find this flat a little cramped in some places! The hobs didn't seem to work particularly well all of the time, but this wasn't a huge issue.
