  Liked: Location and the room size

  Disliked: I was disappointed with my stay. The hotel doesn’t provide power adapters and instead sells them to guests, which I found strange. Also when I checked into my room, I found hair on the floor, so clearly the room wasn’t cleaned properly. I expected better from the hotel.

  Disliked: To: Booking.com Customer Service Subject: Formal Compensation Claim – Airport Transfer Failure – Booking Number 6388928291 Dear Booking.com Customer Service, I am writing to file a formal complaint and request financial compensation regarding the failure of the pre-booked airport transfer associated with booking number 6388928291. On the evening of the 26th, upon our arrival at Madrid Airport, we expected to meet the driver who was supposed to pick us up and take us to our hotel, as arranged through Booking.com. Unfortunately, the driver was nowhere to be found. We waited for approximately 30 minutes at the airport, but the driver did not arrive. We asked all the taxi drivers present at the location for assistance or information, but none of them could provide any information about our booked transfer. Having no alternative and receiving no assistance, we were ultimately forced to hire a taxi at our own expense to reach our hotel. This failure caused us unexpected financial expenses, unnecessary delays, considerable inconvenience, and significant distress at the very beginning of our stay, immediately after our flight. I consider it unacceptable that a transfer booked in advance through your platform was not provided, leaving us stranded at the airport and forcing us to resolve the situation ourselves. I therefore formally request: 1. A full refund of the cost of the alternative taxi that we had to hire and pay for ourselves. 2. Additional financial compensation for the distress, inconvenience, wasted time, and disruption caused by the failure to provide the booked service. 3. A formal written response explaining how this failure occurred and how Booking.com intends to resolve this matter. Please provide a substantive response and a reasonable compensation proposal within 14 days of receiving this complaint. If this matter is not resolved satisfactorily within that period, I reserve the right to consider further action, including legal proceedings, to re

  Overall, the space did not reflect the price. Would not stay here again

  Liked: Good water pressure in shower

  Disliked: There was only a small off-center window in the room, facing an air shaft that let in almost no natural light. This was not noted in advance and the reservation was the same price as a street-facing room. Finishes in the room and bathroom felt fairly cheap.
