Very good
Liked: Property was clean and well maintained. Host was nice and accommodating.
Disliked: The property is on a steep hill so I would be careful especially if travelling with young kids, not a flaw with the property itself but just something to bear in mind
A really lovely little house in a perfect location to enjoy the beaches and city of Malaga
Liked: The property was extremely comfortable and clean in a lovely peaceful location. It had every facility you could possibly need for a great self catering holiday. We particularly enjoyed the garden area to sit out in the sunshine.
Disliked: There was very little communication from the host and we were very concerned not to receive the entry key code until 4 minutes before the stated check-in time. We therefore delayed our arrival by an hour only to find the house was still being cleaned when we arrived there. It didn’t spoil our stay at all but caused a lot of unnecessary anxiety beforehand.
Unresponsive, not prepared as requested, unbelievably uncomfortable sofa bed. Read my full review
Liked: Self contained, good location, handy to park the car inside the grounds
Disliked: The property is advertised as having a double bed and a sofa bed in the lounge. When I requested booking (which i had to wait until the property accepted), I clearly stated that we were two friends staying, and would require both the bed and the sofa bed. When we arrived, just the bed had been made up. I messaged the property and reiterated we needed both. They just responded with “hello, the house is prepared for two people”, and then gave no further response. The sofa bed therefore had no sheets, pillows etc, and was partially broken anyway and incredibly uncomfortable. I’ve tried to be fair with this review—if you are solo or a couple, it’s pretty good. If you are two friends, or there are any issues, I would avoid it like the plague.
Quiet and comfortable stay
Liked: Quiet and relaxing
Disliked: There were a couple of minor maintenance issues such as the large lamp come away from ceiling.
Bad
Disliked: the host gave me the wrong code for the key box. At 0400 am after a wedding we couldnt get in to the house. I ended up waking up the neighbours in the hope that they might have the key. We finally got in 45 minutes later. I wrote to them and they were very sorry and said they would let me know whet they could do, i never heard from them again even after writing to them various times. Very nice house but do not expect customer service.
