Exceptional
Nice location but advertised a private pool which is seasonal and communal
Liked: The location is very good and the hosts personally welcomed me and gave me lots of recommendations.
Disliked: Misleading pool description - seasonal communal pool advertised as private. The listing advertises a private pool. In the UK this means exclusive access. The pool is actually a communal pool shared between 30 properties. This is only mentioned in one answer buried in the FAQs, not in the main listing. Nowhere does the listing state the pool is seasonal. During my May stay it was closed. The host told me it was closed on my arrival but later offered a key but confirmed in writing that she did not know if the water had been changed. As is standard in Malaga, community pools are closed October to April/May with no filtering or maintenance in winter. I declined to use an unmaintained pool. Booking.com agreed the property was not as advertised [Missing facility] and issued a 25% refund after the host declined my refund request.

Great Hosts, Lovely apartment
Liked: The hosts Susana and Antonio were both very welcoming and helpful. The apartment was large enough for me and my 3 kids, clean and easy to maintain.
Disliked: The apartment had a kitchen, with microwave and induction hob but didn't have an oven, something i only realised after purchasing food to cook. The induction hob is a plug in mains hob, the addition of a mini oven would be beneficial if not able to provide a full oven as there is storage room within the cupboards.
Exceptional
Liked: The apartment and the furnitures are new. There is everything needed to prepare some food, washing clothes etc. The area were it is located is exclusive and the house has a nice garage and parking outside. Especially good if you are travelling by car, as it is located outside of the city and you can reach the nearby beaches easily.
