  good stay in a quiet quarter of Malaga

  Liked: Personnel is very gentle and the apartment was convenient, next to city center and Palo beach

  Liked: “The staff requested additional money outside the booking process. After reading similar complaints in other reviews, I no longer felt comfortable staying there and left without spending the night. I recommend future guests proceed carefully.”

  Disliked: Message The apartment staff requested a €100 cash deposit to be returned after 14 days. This was not handled transparently, and after checking reviews I found multiple guests describing the same issue and saying they never received the money back. Because of these concerns, I did not feel safe staying at the property and left without spending the night. I am requesting a refund and asking that this property be investigated.

  Not recommended

  Liked: The place was okay. I booked for one night and extended with another to see more of the city. But I will never go back there and do not recommend this place to anyone else.

  Disliked: BE AWARE: They ask for a deposit of 100€. Even for one night. They promised to pay it back within 8/14 days. I didn't receive any response to my messages and the deposit wasn't paid back until after I contacted Booking about the situation. After that within a week I finally got my money back. So unnecessary! Such a shame! I wish I had read all those bad reviews before I made that reservation.

  Great studio!

  Liked: I was assigned to N° 10. Spacious studio, clean, very comfortable, beautiful environment, quiet. The beach is close by. The neighborhood is well connected by buses to the city center.

  Disliked: You have to pay a deposit of 100 euros on arrival, in cash. It is true that it is mentioned in Booking, but to wait 14 days to retrieve the deposit is absurd. Besides you can do nothing if they decide to keep the money!!I think it's more reasonable to return the deposit when you return the keys and after making sure the studio is OK. In my case I was refunded on day 14 after the checkout, and only after sending a message to the person in charge. Two other things that didn't bother me but still are worth mentioning: The coffee machine mentioned is actually a coffee pot. No outdoor furniture.

  The host is a bit of a con

  Disliked: The host insisted on a 100 euro cash deposit upon arrival and said she would return the amount to my card after 14 days. It sounded a little unreliable, but we had had a long day of driving, so we just went with it, and sure enough, she never returned my deposit. After 14 days, I emailed her and asked about it, and she asked for bank account information via email. I dont know about anyone else but I've NEVER been asked for my bank account information from any booking.com hostal or guest house and she never mentioned needing any bank account information at all when she took the deposit, she just said it would be returned. The whole situation is highly suspect. Disappointed. I paid 155 euros total for an incredibly underwhelming space, wish I would have taken that 155 euros and spent the night somewhere that was actually nice.
