Fabulous
Good hotel let down by poor customer service
Liked: The bedroom was clean, spacious and well equipped and other areas (corridors, lifts) were also clean. It is in a central position convenient for all the major sights.
Disliked: The staff at the reception desk were not as I would expect from a large city hotel. I had to wait some time before I was seen to and no apology was offered for the wait. The hotel appeared to have a very antiquated booking method based on cards rather than a spreadsheet on a computer. The receptionist was curt and not welcoming. The breakfast lacked fresh fruit.

Disliked: We had a problem with the room door lock and unfortunately there is no one from maintenance working at the weekends which was an inconvenience! The reception staff were very helpful I have to add that I was given another room the next day

A Gem in Malaga
Liked: Great location, walking distance to everywhere. Very comfortable room and lovely breakfast. Luggage storage was a great help.

Adequate Hotel in the center of town
Liked: The staff was friendly. The room was clean. It’s a very basic room. Nothing special. No bidet. No tissue box. Just a basic room where they charge you for water unless you go down to the breakfast area and ask for a water refill.
Disliked: On the fourth day, the elevator came up 1 foot short. I stepped into it and sprained my ankle. The elevator was obviously broken. I told the manager, but they did not care. My left foot hurt very much and it was not a good thing for the rest of my trip. This accident was unfortunate and unexpected. I think their elevators are unsafe, and this property should be rated as unsafe until an official investigation is done why the elevator did not come up as it should have and injured a guest. Also, the managers and the workers seem to offer sympathy, but no real help. It is not good that booking.com uses this hotel which has dangerous elevators, causing in injury to the guest.
