Fabulous
Mybe a one night stay would have been better

Absolutely perfect
Ideal stop for break, with super comfy beds and all with views
Liked: Situation was stunning and very popular with tour operators. You can see the whole of the port and Malaga bay
Disliked: Pool was to the side where large numbers of tourists traverse to the castle, which became very noisy during the day. Staff seemed really quite fed up with only one or two exceptions and waiter service was very laconic

Gorgeous location but details need attention
Liked: You are paying a great deal mainly for the view, which is absolutely breathtaking. The room was small but very comfortable and clean. Great breakfast, that view again is wonderful first thing and excellent selection of food with a couple of Picassos to keep you company. Reception staff very nice and welcoming. Swimming pool up under the castle walls. Food in the downstairs restaurant is good.
Disliked: Extremely mean with ‘extras’ in the room. For example just one black and one green teabag a day - not even one per person. That is disgraceful for the price you pay. 2 sachets of decaf coffee - no caffeinated. Complementary drinking water not replaced daily, just for your first day. The food in the upstairs restaurant disappointing, ajo blanco so overly salty I couldn’t eat it and lamb chops unappetisingly grey and again very salty. Not as good as we have enjoyed on previous visits. We were not alone, peopke at the neighbouring table were sending food back. Service in downstairs restaurant incredibly slow although the food is better, and attitude from some staff.
