Love the place
Liked: Easy access to black Madonna and its free if you check in, in this hotel
Disliked: I purchase Buffet they are too busy and understaff. It took them a while to give us water. And their not attentive to the costumer.
Fantastic stay
Liked: We loved our 3 night stay. There's so much to see in Montserrat. Our room was simply, but it was clean and comfortable. We were grateful to have a room looking over the courtyard. Breakfast was great (heaps to choose from) and we enjoyed the buffet dinner twice. Sorry to leave.
Disliked: WiFi wasn't great, but not unexpected in such a mountainous setting.
Great setting and much less than staying in Barcelona, even counting to transportation cost!

Liked: Property sat right adjacent to the courtyard of the Basilica and provided an amazing view of the valley area.
Disliked: Dinner was a buffet that was really good, but it was pricey.
Incredible scenic views in a prime location, though parking further away was a bit stressful
Liked: The location was absolutely unbeatable, with an amazing view right out of our room window overlooking the dramatic cliffs and the countryside below. The reception staff was very helpful and explained everything carefully, including special perks for hotel guests visiting the monastery. Breakfast was also very tasty with a great selection.
Disliked: The main downside was the parking setup, as there is no parking available right near the hotel, so we had to use a paid public lot further away. The public parking area didn't feel particularly secure for overnight parking, which left me worrying about potential car break-ins.

Disliked: No hot water for shower
