Liked: When my daughter and I (and my dog) arrived at El Yantar de Gredos we were welcomed by Daniel and Cristina. It was like coming home. We were made to feel so welcome. It was a quiet time just after the summer holidays, even so, Daniel was able to deliver the full menu which was amazing locally sourced food. I travel through Spain most summers and the Sierra de Gredos has become one of my favourite places so I will definitely be back to see my new friends Daniel and Cristina. This is a beautiful rural hotel with rustic charm. It isn't a flashy boutique hotel which would be completely out of place in the village of San Martín del Pimpollar. It was exactly what we were looking for and devliered 100%

Excellent stay and would absolutely recommend!
Liked: Daniel and Cristina made us feel at home from the get-go and gave us great advice on local hikes and things to do. They are also pet-welcoming, which made a huge difference.
Disliked: The décor is not quite as charming as some other similar establishments in the area but this was hardly an issue.
