Very good
It was a joyous break from campervan life - couldn't have picked a better place
Liked: The town was so cute and the hotel was lovely and old school
Disliked: I can't think of anything. n
Perfect for me - a lucky find
Liked: Comfortable room, furnished in typical simple Spanish style. Location superb in a quiet corner of Olite though only a short walk to the centre. Building itself is quite historic, and sensitively modernised so as not to lose its character. (I really hate it when internal modernisation rips all the character and original features from old buildings). Dining room traditional, comfortable, & atmospheric. The restaurant is probably one of the best in Olite - I looked at a few others, but always returned here. Beautiful food & friendly service. No on-site parking, but car parks available within 200m or some on-street parking.
Disliked: Nothing!
Quirky hotel in a fantastic location
Liked: Hotel in an excellent spot, we arrived by bicycle so very easy to access. Reception, lounge area and some rooms on 1st floor. Our double room on the 2nd floor was a good size and had a view over to the hills and side view of the castle. Very quiet. Good shower. Lovely roof terrace which had some seating and loungers. Good free WiFi in the lounge area. Our friends had a meal in the restaurant and said it was excellent. Hotel owner let us put our bikes in his garage (along with our 4 friends) for a charge of €20. The hotel was a great find, it's location is second to none, quirky decoration and spotlessly clean.
Disliked: We've toured Spain by bike many many times and this is the first time we've ever been charged which was a bit disappointing, but at least they were very safe and the owner DID move his car allowing us to take over his garage so I guess we shouldn't grumble, just a bit surprised. WiFi in our 2nd floor room (21) was very poor, but in lounge area it was fine. And finally, we found the aerosol air freshener in the reception area way too overpowering. One of us is asthmatic and it felt very uncomfortable and unnecessary
Great place to stay within 2 minutes walk of the town centre
Liked: Perfect place to stay in this beautiful little town with an amazing castle. Awesome restaurant and really authentic old Spanish style decor. Friendly staff and public car parking directly opposite
Disliked: Nothing all perfect
Brilliant
Liked: Property was close to town centre and train station. The hotel is very clean and the staff were very helpful. The restaurant was outstanding.
Disliked: Stairs to reception has to carry luggage up
Liked: Lovely, quaint hotel in the middle of the town. Really friendly, helpful staff. The rooms were not large but perfectly adequate, comfortable beds, air conditioning and plenty of hot water. Despite the fact that there was a fiesta, the room was quiet. We ate in the hotel's restaurant, and it was excellent, offering regional dishes and local wines. The town itself was fascinating, full of history and easy to walk round
Disliked: Just be aware that parking is a little away from the hotel entrance and is public parking. Ypu need to be able to carry your luggage to the hotel
